Limitation — the banks that give the water its force.
The traditional reading
Hexagram 60 is the river between its banks — limitation that is not deprivation but form. To be effective you must accept the boundaries: budget, time, custom, scope. Establish reasonable limits, hold to them, and do not make the limitation so tight that nothing can flow. A life needs banks to run deep.
