Hexagram 59

Dispersion · Feng Shui Huan

Dispersion — the wind that melts the ice and scatters the mists.

The traditional reading

Hexagram 59 is the wind over the lake — the melting of what had frozen, the dissolving of fear and division. Its counsel is to loosen what is rigidly held: the cold heart, the stale resentment, the isolation. Reach out, share the burden, and let the thaw begin from the highest point, where the wind touches first.
