The traditional reading
Hexagram 40 is the sudden release — the storm breaking, the knot loosening, the way reopening after the obstruction. Act promptly now, clear the last debris quickly, and do not linger in old battles. Forgive the recent past and move on; relief is a door, and it does not stay open forever.
